Language
Change the interface language or let Jenni detect it from your browser.
FAQ ↓Jenni’s interface can be displayed in multiple languages. You can set a language manually or let Jenni detect it from your browser settings.
Changing the Interface Language
- Open Settings > Preferences.
- Select a language from the Interface language dropdown.
- The page reloads with the new language applied.
The language selector is also available on the login and signup pages, in the top header area.
Automatic Detection
If you have not manually selected a language, Jenni uses your browser’s language setting to determine the interface language. Once detected, the preference is remembered for future sessions on the same browser.

What Gets Translated
The language setting controls the entire interface: menus, buttons, settings panels, dialogs, and system messages.
AI-generated content (autocomplete suggestions, chat responses, AI edits) responds in the language you write in, independent of the interface setting. Writing in French with an English interface produces French AI suggestions.
Troubleshooting
Some text still appears in English. Newly added features may not yet have translations for all languages. These are updated in subsequent releases.
My language is not available. Jenni defaults to English (US) when a language is not supported.
Language reset after clearing browser data. Clearing cookies or browser data resets the stored language preference to automatic detection. Open Settings > Preferences and select your language again.
